Serving Windsor and Essex County since 1988, Electrical Power Group (EPG Electric & Solar Contractors) is a Southwestern Ontario owned and operated electrical service and solar contracting company. EPG Electric provides current products and technology with a focus on energy management, conservation and renewable solar energy for industrial, commercial and residential customers.
Our main focus is solar systems 1kw to 250kw ground and roof mount installations. We can help you with all or part of your project, depending on your requirements. We offer site layout analysis, shading analysis, system design, installation, commissioning, ongoing service / maintenance and monitoring.
EPG is a member of the Ontario Electric League (OEL) & the Canadian Solar Industry Association (CanSIA).
Owner
Luke Bogdanovic is the owner of Electrical Power Group (EPG Electric and Solar Contractors). In addition to being a registered electrical contractor, Luke’s accreditations include, Interprovincial 309A construction, 442A Industrial and ESA/ECRA registered Master Electrician Licences. He is an active member and holds seats on the Essex Executive and Provincial boards of the Ontario Electric League (OEL). His position on the OEL Provincial electrical contractor committee (CC) and the Contractor Advisory Council to the Electrical Safety Authority (COAC) allow him access to industry changes, electrical code and policy making. Luke is an active member of the Canadian Solar Industry Association (CanSIA), and is currently working with the Ministry of Colleges & Universities (MTCU) to establish training and MTCU endorsement for Solar PV electricians.
Residential & Solar PV
Milos Backo is a great asset to the EPG residential and custom home portion of the business; his expertise and talent in the field have made him a leader in the industry. Milos, a 10 year member of EPG, has acquired a vast amount of knowledge from his 309A apprenticeship training at St Clair College and from working in the field. Milos is an active member of the Ontario Electric League (OEL) and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA).
Commercial & Solar PV
Nigel Bogdanovic has been a member of the EPG team since 1994 and has played an instrumental role in its success. Nigel has vast knowledge in the commercial and residential fields. Nigel’s specialties include installations ranging from big box stores to smaller installations and troubleshooting. He earned his diploma at Windsor’s St. Clair College as part of the construction maintenance apprenticeship program (309A). Nigel is an active member of the Ontario Electrical League (OEL) and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA).
Industrial & Solar PV
Randy Stecher has played a tremendous role in the success of the industrial division. Graduating from St. Clair College in 1993 with a 442A diploma Randy has worked in the industrial field for over 21 years. Randy’s ability to program a wide variety of Programmable Logic Controllers and troubleshoot a variety of automated machines and CNCs, along with his retrofitting skills have made him a leader in the industrial arena. He is a member of the Ontario Electric League (OEL) and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA).
Commercial & Solar PV
Joe Bianchi has been a member of the EPG team since 2010. Joe is a certified Inter Provincial Electrician and has vast knowledge in the commercial field. Joe’s specialties include commercial and industrial applications ranging from installations of complete building electrical infrastructure to troubleshooting systems. Joe is an active member of the Ontario Electrical League (OEL) and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA).
